Overnight Oats

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats (not quick oats)

  • ½ cup Neutral Milk

  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds

  • Pinch of kosher salt

  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional toppings: fresh fruit, nut butter, chopped nuts, Greek yogurt, ground cinnamon, maple syrup, honey, fruit jam

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients into a jar and mix until combined. Cover the jar with a lid. 

  2. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight. 

  3. Just before serving, add toppings and thin with a little milk, if desired.


Make-Ahead Tip: Oats keep well in the refrigerator for up to five days.
